These tiles are great for many math or sorting games.
Tile Game Invite one or two children to take part in this exercise. This activity is further practice for the numbers 1-10. Begin by bringing the tiles and numerical cards numbered 1-10 to the work area. You will have the work area marked off into ten columns. The child lays the cards in sequence inside the columns. The child will lay the correct number of tiles under each number card. To vary this activity, the child can place pairs of tiles within the even columns leaving the odd columns empty. Finish the activity by placing individual tiles inside of the odd columns. The goal of this activity is to help the child continue to develop knowledge of sequencing, introduce the concept of odd and even, learn quantities, and preparation for geometry concepts.
